I come up to the edge of the wood, its shutters, aware as I come close. Each tree, part of a vast network, communicating, connecting, sharing. Different species, contributing to the whole. Darwin says we must fight, with only the fittest to survive. But as a virus rages thru my world, I see how we are all connected. As the natures flourish, our cities crumble. We focus on ourselves missing the forest for the trees.
